Changing Practices – Home and Community Based Care Technologies for Independent Living
Eric Dishman is an Intel Fellow and Global Director of Health Innovation and Policy for Intel Corporation in its Digital Health Group and is widely recognized as a global leader in healthcare innovation for home and community-based technologies and services, focusing in particular on enabling seniors to live independently. Eric will give examples and show prototypes from Intel’s ethnographic and pilot research in more than 1000 homes of seniors from 20 different countries that explore how independent living technologies can help us rethink the aging experience from “patient” to “provider” and shift care to the home.
