Along with collaborators (University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, University of Washington, St. Louis University University of North Texas), The Oregon Center for Aging & Technology was recently awarded a 2-year grant from the The National Academies Keck Futures Initiative, titled Technology-Enhanced Interventions for Distance Caregiving of Older Adults. This interdisciplinary project will explore information and communication technology solutions to support long-distance caregiving. The researchers will develop the long-term research agenda to assess human-technology interface within an aging-in-place model.
